Device Configuration Wizard silently creates all the volumes as Manual instead of Automatic recycle which is the traditional default option.<\/p>\n<p>Notice that when right clicking on a volume from NMC &#8211; Media windows &#8211; Volumes &#8211; and select Recycle the pre-selected (default)\u00a0option is Auto but it doesn&#8217;t mean that this is the actual status of the volume. To verify volume status\u00a0run the\u00a0mminfo command:<br \/>\nmminfo -q volume=&lt;volume_name&gt;\u00a0-r volume,state,volflags<\/p>\n<p><strong>Workaround:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Note: Use this workaround for existing volumes as the code fix would only help with new volumes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From the NMC GUI, go to the Media -&gt; Disk Volumes view.<br \/>\nRight click on the affected volume and set &#8222;Recycle&#8220; to Auto<br \/>\nRun nsrim -X from the NetWorker server CLI.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Resolution<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Install the latest Cumulative Fixes package for NetWorker 7.6<br \/>\n<\/span><strong><span>You can download the latest Cumulative Fixes package for NetWorker 7.6 from the following location: <\/span><\/strong><a href=\"ftp:\/\/ftp.legato.com\/pub\/NetWorker\/Cumulative_Hotfixes\/7.6\"><span>ftp:\/\/ftp.legato.com\/pub\/NetWorker\/Cumulative_Hotfixes\/7.6<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Known issue: NW128046 &#8211; New Device Wizard labeling new volumes as manually_recyclable.
